Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have neck pain, stiffness in the lower back every morning, Raynaud's phenomenon with horizontal ridges in toenails, clicking painful fingers, wrist pain, and fatigue. I took NSAIDs and did CPR and ESR tests. My CPR and ESR test results were normal. I have a history of pregnancy and breastfeeding twice. What is the reason for my auto-immune disorder?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your symptoms are suggestive of Raynaud's disease. I suggest tablet Nifedipine (consult with a specialist doctor, talk with him or her and take medicines with their consent) once at night for 15 days. Stay in warmth and avoid cold compression. Do you have a history of smoking, drug allergies, or hypertension?

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor for the reply,

I smoked from the age of 19 to 38 years but quitted it around two years back. I do not have any history of drug allergies. My blood pressure is 138/90 mm Hg. My previous incident related to Raynaud's disease made my two fingers on the right hand go numb and pale. It recovered after several hours. Should I be concerned about neck or back pain?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Provide clinical images for diagnosis. Follow the below steps. Avoid cold exposure. Use hot fomentation bags. Avoid smoking. Monitor your blood pressure. Avoid anti-hypertensive drugs as it causes blood vessel compression and pain. I suggest (consult with a specialist doctor, talk with him or her and take medicines with their consent) tablet Dolo 650 mg (Paracetamol) once daily after dinner for five days in case of fever.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
