Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had undergone a root canal treatment on a tooth two years ago. A few days back it started to pain and I came to know there was an infection in the same tooth. It was discovered that the pus was coming from the inner side of the tooth. The dentist just placed cotton on the affected tooth. I am very worried. What to do?

Please help.
