Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

A part of my anal skin has come out and is not going inside. What should I do? I have tried putting it inside but it pops out again. I have applied coconut oil as well but nothing is happening. As such, there is no pain in that but it is not looking nice as well.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

This is likely to be a prolapse, either an anal or rectal prolapse or prolapse of hemorrhoids. Definitive treatment is the surgicalcorrection if it is severe. Otherwise, you should put it inside manually after passing stools. It may come back again during straining at stools. So every time it comes out, you need to put it back.

I guess you do not have any bleeding. The most important thing to prevent its progression is to avoid excessive straining at stool. You should avoid constipation, so if having constipation should have a laxative like Cremaffin plus syrup. So, visit the surgeon once to get it confirmed and for its severity.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
