Patient's Query

Hello doctor.

I am 20 years old, 125 pounds, and 5 feet 7 inches tall. I have been feeling discomfort in my left upper rib cage since yesterday morning, and appears to be moved to the lower and center left sides of my back, making breathing difficult. I woke up at 4 a.m. to a searing ache that was expanding to my right back, center, and lower back and moving to my upper back, and I could scarcely breathe or move. I am not sure what this may be. I am experiencing nausea and shortness of breath. All I need to know is what to do and whether this is a severe situation. I have an important interview tomorrow that might change my life, and I cannot afford to miss it.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

It looks like you are experiencing anxiety.

These are typical anxiety symptoms. I suggest that you visit your local emergency room for an ECG (electrocardiogram) and a chest X-ray to rule out any other possibilities. You must relax and take long breaths. You will do well in your interview tomorrow. Do not worry.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
