Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Why does my rib cage feel bruised when I touch it? Also, why am I getting slight pain around my body? Please advise.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Well, it can sometimes happen due to muscle spasms in the rib cage. Do hot fomentations twice daily. You can apply analgesic gel externally. You need to take the following tablets after consulting a specialist and with their consent.

1.Tablet Ibuprofen (400 mg) twice daily for 10 days after food.

2.Tablet Rabeprazole (20 mg) once daily for 10 days after food.

3.Tablet Shelcal (Calcium and Cholecalciferol) (500 mg) once daily for 30 days before food.

4.Tablet Vitamin D once daily for 10 days and then once a month for 11 months.

Take these tablets only if you are not allergic to them, and do not take these tablets if you suffer from bronchial asthma. Follow up immediately in case of any adverse reactions.

Regards.
