Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

For as long as I have been alive I have heard this soft voice calling from a distance. She says my name and tells me that she needs me. I do not know who she is or what she wants. It started with dreams but now I hear her while I am awake randomly. I will go out for days, weeks, a month or two but then she comes back. I am not under any medication. I did suffer from TBI but I have been diagnosed with depression back in high school and I have been hearing this voice since my childhood. Am I schizophrenic? Whenever I break down and feel so alone, I hear her voice. Telling me that she is there and waiting for me. Sometimes I hear her voice and I become overwhelmed with sadness and a strange sense of longing. What is wrong with me?

Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Kindly tell me more about your TBI.

Is it a traumatic brain injury? If yes, kindly upload the record and what medication you are using and used in past, and past record of depression if you have.

Please provide more details about voices, can it be terminated with your will or not? Do you hear these voices or are these voices in your mind? What about delusional thoughts like people are against me, trying to harm me or talking about me, and more about your daily life, your self-care, functionality, and physical health?

Get an online appointment for further assessment so that a proper diagnosis can be made and can be properly guided.

Kindly mention your age.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
