Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I got circumcised a few years ago. After that, I lost sensitivity. I take too long to reach the climax and ejaculate. I do not get orgasms with penetration alone. Is there any treatment to restore the sensitivity in my penis? Currently, I am on vitamin supplements and Royal jelly. The blood tests were normal, and the doctor recommended consulting a urologist or neurologist to assist with the nerve sensitivity.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Usually, circumcision does not cause reduced sensitivity. In fact, it increases sensitivity as glans is exposed. Anyway, it may be a nerve injury causing loss of sensation. Encourage nerve healing with the use of vitamin B12. I suggest using tablet Neurobion - two tablets thrice daily for six weeks. I hope that will work with you as it encourages nerve healing. If you have back pain and loss of sensation or power in any leg, it is also recommended to have an MRI scan of the back. I hope you update me about the progress after six weeks. Also, if you have any more queries, please let me know.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thank you for the reply.
There was excessive skin removed during circumcision. I do not have a sack when erect as it pulls the skin tight over the shaft. The glans has almost no feeling any longer. Is it possible to restore the sensitivity in any other way? Previously doctor told me to take Neurobion, but only one each morning. I will increase to two tablets, three times per day as described, and see if it improves.
