Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am an 18-year-old male. I have been carrying heavy bags on my left shoulder for the past two years. I have weakness in the left side of my body while working out. Also, the left shoulder seems to appear lower than the right shoulder. I am worried about this. Can this be cured? Kindly give your suggestions.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. The conditions like rotator cuff injury and tendonitis cause weakness in the shoulder muscles and difficulties in day-to-day activities like lifting heavy weights and doing shoulder and arm movements. Both these conditions present similar symptoms. You might be suffering from one of these conditions. This can be managed with medications and exercises, and a few tests may be required. I hope this helps you.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
