Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have red spots in a circle on my inner thigh. The red circle touches my scrotum, but the scrotum has no infection. The circle with spots has been the same throughout the week, it itches sometimes. It is not painful to touch. The weather where I live is very humid and I sweat a lot in that region.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have noted your concern and I have viewed the images (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity). It is a fungal infection. I suggest you use an OTC (over-the-counter) topical antifungal like Clotrimazole 1 % cream, twice daily for two to four weeks. I also suggest you take oral antihistamines such as Cetrizine 10 mg tablet for symptomatic relief from itching. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with them, and take medications with their consent.
Thank you.
