Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have a sore throat, fever, runny nose, and black stool. Is there anything serious?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You are suffering from probably acute viral rhinopharyngitis with black stools. Black stools may be due to GI bleeding or Iron tablets consumption or infection, etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Use tablet Paracetamol thrice a day for five days, tablet Pantaprazole before breakfast for one week. If the symptoms are not improved, please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly. You may also get prescription medicine for pharyngitis online if visiting the doctor personally is not possible for you. Take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
