Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am always tired and sleepy, and by mid of the day, I feel I need to lay down in my bed. Due to the nature of my work, I wake up early every day, but my lifestyle is sedentary. My CPC is normal; also, liver and kidney functions are normal, and glands are normal. But I have been on SSRI Paroxetine for two years now. I take multivitamins, turmeric, and omega 3. Kindly advise.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You need to control the uptake of SSRI (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor); if not required, then try to lower the dosage or else take it on alternative days. Somehow SSRI causes lethargy as a side effect. So please take care of that. Apart from it, you should take more juices and water. Follow a healthy lifestyle, and do daily exercises. In the beginning, you will feel tired, but later on, you are going to like it, and you will be more active. Take a high protein diet such as eggs, milk, and oats. Continue taking multivitamins and omega 3. You will see a huge change in one month; if not, let me know, and we will go for testing and treatment accordingly.

Take care.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I eat very well. I am on intermittent fasting, I stop eating at 10 pm, and I break my fast at 2 pm, but sometimes I feel extremely tired and dizzy after eating, especially after the first meal.

Just follow the advice given above and continue taking multivitamins. If anything else is there, please let me know.
