Stress Alopecia

Hair fall due to severe mental stress is called stress alopecia. The types of hair fall due to stress are telogen effluvium, trichotillomania, and alopecia areata. Hair fall due to stress is generally not permanent. Once the stress is under control, hair usually grows back.
