Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am currently 14 weeks pregnant through IVF and have been diagnosed with a subchorionic hemorrhage measuring 0.590551 inches x 0.15748 inches following bleeding two months ago, an emergency visit confirmed a large SCH. A subsequent ultrasound taken last month indicated that it was regressing. My doctor has advised me to start taking Aspirin 162 mg from the 12th week. Should I proceed with this recommendation?
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I can understand your concern.
IVF pregnancy is entire full of expectations I know, and I also see that you have been aware, and taken care of yourself well, and opted for treatment on time. The subchorionic hematoma if resolving is a good sign, but you should be extra cautious and take good care of yourself. Aspirin is a good suggestion from your gynecologist and you should go ahead and start at the earliest. Aspirin prevents and delays complications and helps to proceed with pregnancy in a better way. So please go ahead and start Aspirin, as it has a good outcome.
I hope this helps. Feel free to contact me if you have any further queries.
Thank you.
