Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My husband has had white-yellowish spots in his throat near his tonsils for the past three months. It never caused pain earlier, but it has been hurting for the past two weeks. Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Thank you for your query. I understand your concern. In the image provided (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity), the tonsils appear studded with pus and slightly congested tonsil stones. So I suggest you to follow a few instructions mentioned below. 1. Take a tablet of Macrolide (antibiotic), once daily for five days. 2. Use some decongestants and mouth rinses. 3. Drink plenty of fluids and warm water. 4. Take rest. Kindly consult a specialist, talk to them and take medications with their consent. Also, does he have any additional symptoms like acidity, difficulty in breathing, cough, or headache? I hope this has helped you. Kindly follow up with answers. Thank you.
