Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been having toothache along with an infection. I have completed my antibiotic course but it did not help much. I am worried now.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Well if you do not take the desired doses then such intake of antibiotics is not useful. Yes, it can even cause resistance. It is not advisable to take antibiotics for 30 days prior to treatment of the tooth and if the tooth is infected then treatment should be done as soon as after 5 days post-antibiotic cover. So you should consult a dentist. It is not necessary that the infection can become so severe to cause death but can progress to the facial spaces and can become dangerous.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
