How to overcome a low sex drive with undescended testicles?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi,

I am a 30-year-old male with an undescended testicle. My sperm concentration is 3.5 million, and have a motility of 50 %. I am facing anxiety issues and a low sex drive. My right testicle is not working. I took Heyforte capsule and Testact tablet for the last five days. Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

I checked your reports (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). You have a low sperm count, less semen, and a lot of defected sperm. Have you done any investigation regarding your undescended testicle? If not, you need to plan for an ultrasound scrotum.

I suggest you take the following medication for your issue. Take a tablet containing a combination of levo-carnitine, coenzyme Q10, zinc, lycopene, and astaxanthin twice a day for the next 30 days and redo the test. For low sex drive and anxiety issues, I suggest you take the tablet of Tadalafil 5 mg twice a day after food for 30 days. Drink adequate water and perform regular physical exercise.

I hope this helps.

Please revert in case of further queries.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thanks for the reply.

I will take tablets and redo the test by seeing which parameter is used to judge defected sperm. Will my sperm count come back to normal if I take medicine? Or do I have to see other treatment options? Also, I had Viagra earlier, but I had a headache after taking it, so I do not want to continue it. Please suggest some other medicines.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Medications will help you. If there is any issue, we can investigate further. Regarding medication, I suggest you can take tablet of Tadalafil 5 mg twice daily. It is a low dose, so the side effects will also be less. Consult your doctor and take medicines accordingly.

Thank you.
