Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 25-year-old male. When my penis is erect, I can feel a dent or bend in the lower tube-like structure of my penis. Can it be a urethral stricture? After drinking four litres of water, I had a uroflow test, voided volume 486 maximum, flow 21 ml/s Average 8 ml/s. When urinating, I also put pressure to let the urine flow properly. Can this extra pressure affect the result of the test? Later on, I also urinated, pulling the foreskin to check the urine flow; it was coming from only the upper side and in between, it came out from the lower side, forming two different streams. And can prostatitis cause premature ejaculation?

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The symptoms are suggestive of urethral stricture. The extra pressure that you have put while urinating will affect the results of the test. You should consult a urologist to diagnose and treat urethral stricture, as the cause should be ruled out before the treatment. And prostatitis can cause erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation. I hope I have answered your query. If you have further questions, I will be happy to help you.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
