Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have had these symptoms since last year. Initially, I used to have severe pain in the large joints, like the knee and hip joints. Now I do not have severe pains, but mild pains in large joints and some sort of irritation in the finger joints.
No visible swelling, but I do occasionally get mouth sores (maybe inflammation indications). I rarely drink, like once in two or three months.
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
In this case, my recommendation would be to start you on anti-hyperuricemic agents. I would recommend you take the tablet Febuxostat 80 mg once daily after meals. Reduce protein and non-vegetarian diet. Drink plenty of fluids. Write back to me after one month with a fresh report of serum uric acid.
I hope this helps.
Please revert in case of further queries.
Thank you.
