There is irregular bleeding from the vagina in varying amount. Before that, there were no periods for six months. Kindly help.

You have to go for an ultrasound and some blood test in two to three days. If you are sexually active then vaginal examination must also be done.

Your problem could be due to some pathology with the uterus or hormonal imbalance. Blood test needed is- FSH, LH, prolactin, TFT and testosterone. Ultrasound pelvis is also advisable to see if there is any uterine problem.
