Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 18 years old and started experiencing pain in my vagina a few years ago. I would grow some cyst or boil with some pus, and then later, a little blood would come out. It would then dry and go and come back again. I still have scars on my vagina and do not know what to do about it. I checked about it on the internet and came to know about vagina cysts, and apple cider vinegar can be used to treat it, but it did not work for me. I do not know if there are any recommended products to take care of my vagina and avoid this problem because it hurts when I have them. Is it possible to get rid of the scars?

Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern.

If you have been suffering from pussy cyst-like lesions in the vagina recurrently, it is necessary to investigate. So it is better to have a high vaginal swab, a swab from a lesion or cyst, a biopsy, or whatever is needed accordingly. It would help if you had a detailed local examination by a gynecologist. So I suggest you to indergo the laboratory tests and discuss them with your gynecologist. In addition I suggest you to follow the instructions mentioned below,

1) Follow strict hygiene.

2) Wear soft, comfortable undergarments.

3) Use condoms for sex with lubricant.

4) Sit in warm water to get relief.

5) Discuss with your doctor before taking any medication.

6) After investigations, you can take tablets Doxycycline (antibiotic) 100 mg twice daily and Metronidazole (antibiotic and antiprotozoal) 400 mg thrice daily for seven days.

I hope this has helped you out.

Thank you.
