Hello doctor,

I am experiencing a burning and itching sensation in the vaginal area, along with an unusual discharge that appears greenish-white. I am 18 years old, weigh 110 pounds, and my height is 5 feet 2 inches. Please help.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

It appears that you may have a fungal infection. I suggest you the following treatments:

  1. Apply Candid B vaginal cream (Beclometasone 0.025 percent and Clotrimazole 1.0 percent) both inside and outside the vagina twice a day to alleviate itching.

  2. Insert one Clingen Forte vaginal tablet (Clindamycin 100 mg, Clotrimazole 100 mg , and Tinidazole 100 mg) deeply into the vagina before bedtime for seven days. Note that if you are a virgin, do not use this.

  3. Swallow one Forcan 150 mg (Fluconazole 150 mg) tablet once a week for four to six weeks.

  4. Take one tablet Oflox oz (Ofloxacin 200mg and Ornidazole 500 mg) twice a day for five days after eating, avoiding an empty stomach.

  5. Consume one Becosules Z (vitamin B and zinc) tablet daily for a week. Consult your doctor and take the medication accordingly.

  6. Additionally, please provide information on how long you have been experiencing this discharge.I suggest you undergo a physical examination by a gynaecologist, and let me know if you are currently in a relationship. We can review your progress during a consultation.

I hope this helps.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for your reply.

I previously mentioned that I have a vaginal infection due to the presence of greenish-white discharge. I have been taking Becosules Z for two days, but the overall weakness in my body persists. Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Have you taken the medications I prescribed? It is important to note that Becosules Z (vitamin B and zinc) does not cause greenish discharge. As mentioned earlier, you likely have a fungal infection. I suggest you schedule an appointment with a gynecologist to address the issue with your discharge. It is necessary to rule out a urinary tract infection (UTI). Please be aware that the color of your urine may be affected by B-complex supplements, but your weakness and body aches could be related to either an unresolved vaginal infection or a UTI.

I hope this helps.

Please revert in case of further queries.

Thank you.
