I suffer from PCOS and white discharge issues. I am having trouble with intercourse. It is very painful and am not able to do it.

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern.

PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) is a hormonal imbalance of the body bearing multiple cysts in one of both ovaries. It is also associated with abnormal hair growth over the chest. PCOS as such does not cause any problem in intercourse but the white discharge which you have may cause pain. It could be either fungal or trichomonal vaginitis which may be causing pain in the vagina during intercourse The vaginitis may be due to low immunity of the body. So, I would suggest you have a high protein diet along with iron in the form of green leafy vegetables to boost your immunity.

Apart from this, I would like to know whether the pain during intercourse occurs or it is after intercourse. If it is during intercourse, then it could be due to spasms of your vagina due to anxiety or apprehension which can be reduced by relaxation exercise and foreplay. If it is after intercourse, please get yourself examined internally by a specialist doctor for any local pathology.

I hope this has helped you.

Thanks and regards.
