What can cause vaginal pain, stomach ache, and bleeding after sex?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 19-year-old female. I had sex for the first time last month. After that, I have pain in my vagina and the stomach after that day, and it has not stopped. Also, I had bleeding after five days, and my period date was supposed to occur three days ago, but it has not occurred even today. What can I do next?

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I thoroughly read your query and understand your concern.

It may be due to first-time intercourse. Some abrasion may be there. I suggest you kindly go for antibiotics, analgesics, and antihistamines along with douching of the vagina with an antiseptic solution and vaginal pessary or ointment for five days. You will get your regular periods. It might be somewhat delayed due to stress, strain, or infection.

Please visit back to be reviewed with your query soon for a better understanding of treatment suggestions and prescription of drugs.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.
