Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been diagnosed with a vocal cord polyp and later got it removed two years back. But for the past few months, I have been feeling a burning sensation in my throat and feeling tired after talking for a few minutes. What should I do? Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query. I understand your concern. Do you have symptoms of acidity or reflux also like a burning sensation in the chest or frequent burps? Acid reflux may complicate the situation as it leads to Irritation and inflammation in vocal cords leading to hoarseness, vocal fatigue, etc. Get a fibreoptic video laryngoscopy done. I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
