What might be causing vomiting and cold sweats for a week?

Hello doctor,
I have been sick for seven days with vomiting and cold sweat which has not stopped. I need a doctor's note for my job so I can have more time to become healthy again. I have not had sex in 6 months (so not pregnant). Please help.

I read your query and can understand your concern. Your problem may be due to acid peptic disease associated with infection of either the urinary tract or pelvic floor. I suggest the following Pantoprazole 40 mg tablets two times daily before food, Domperidone tablets 10 mg three times daily before food, antacid syrup (any brand with magaldrate). If you have lower abdominal pain and urinary symptoms include tablet Nitrofurantoin or Ciprofloxacin as antibiotic coverage. However, please consult a physician, discuss with them, and start taking the medications with their consent. If possible kindly go for the following tests. complete hemogram, ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis, urine routine and culture test, Pap smear of vaginal discharge for microbiology and others like cervicitis, thyroid profile, upper GI endoscopy.
