Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I drank water from a bottle that was used to clean drug syringes.

Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com.

If the water is safe and hygienic there may not be many issues from it. If it is not safe and not fit for drinking, it can lead to gastrointestinal disturbances or infections. If you are worried about HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) as it was used to clean syringes, it is unlikely to transmit HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) by the act described. I hope you do not have any other risk exposure. Which other diseases are you worried about?

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply,

It is appreciated. HIV is my primary concern and you have addressed this here. The water was spring water in a plastic bottle purchased from the store.

Thank you so much.

Hi, Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It is nice to hear that your concerns are addressed. The water appears to be definitely safe. There is no need to worry about HIV (human deficiency virus) or other diseases. Wish you safe and good health.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
