Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 31-year-old female. I am not on any current medications. For the past four weeks, I have had constant fatigue, weakness, off-balance, and lightheadedness, seeming to arise from the back of the neck and head, and I have brain fog and have a sort of dizziness. I am currently under multiple instances of extreme life stress. I had these similar symptoms four months back. Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

According to your statement, you have been suffering from weakness, fatigue, imbalance, lightheadedness, brain fog, and dizziness for the last four weeks. Such type of clinical features may result from some underlying health conditions such as low blood sugar or hypoglycemia, low hemoglobin levels or anemia, low blood pressure, electrolytes imbalance, dehydration, vitamin B12 deficiency, migraines, anxiety or stress, COVID-19 infection, thyroid hormone disorders, ear diseases and many more. Without investigations, it is difficult to predict the exact causes of your present suffering. Some investigations like CBC (complete blood count), RBS (random blood sugar test), vitamin B12 assay, serum electrolytes, thyroid function tests, and RT-PCR (reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction) for COVID-19 infection can be taken to find out the exact underlying causes for your present sufferings and then treat them accordingly. In the meantime, I suggest you take a balanced diet daily with lots of green leafy vegetables as well as iron and vitamin B12 enriched foods or fruits, take plenty of fluids to keep yourself hydrated, exercise regularly, take proper sleep and rest, take glucose water regularly, try to remove anxiety or stress may help to subside your present sufferings gradually.

Take care. In case of any other queries, please let me know.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
