Can a colored lens be used while having astigmatism?
Hi doctor,
Can I wear a regular colored contact lens for only one night if I have astigmatism? I have no eye symptoms at all. I wear glasses all of the time, that is all. Before five to six years, I had surgery on my right eye due to eye cysts. It is fully healed now. I want to change my look for my upcoming 18th birthday, but colored contact lenses for astigmatism are way over my budget.

Is my visual disturbance due to eye problem or wearing glasses for headache?
Hi doctor,
I have headaches because of my eye problem. When I checked my eyes, I got a + 0.25 number in SPH, and my doctor suggested using eyeglasses. This is the first time me wearing glasses. When I wear glasses, I see distant objects closer than they are, but when I do not wear glasses, I can see them clearly. Is it because I have an eye problem or because I am wearing glasses for the first time. Please let me know if this is an issue or not?

Hi doctor,
A week back, I had a swelling in one of my eyelids and thought it to be a stye. I applied a steroid cream; however, the swelling has not reduced but increased, and now the other eyelid has also started to swell. I am worried. Can you please prescribe some medications?
