How to manage premature ejaculation in a 60-year-old?

Hello doctor,

I am 60 years old. I am physically fit and I jog almost 3 to 4 km daily. I am a vegetarian. I have a business of my own. I have undergone angioplasty before 20 years and open heart surgery six years before. But, I am an active person with slim body. My height is 165 cm and weight is 60 kg. My waist is 31 inches.

I have been on medication since my open heart surgery and I was prescribed Olmezest 20, Ecosprin AV 75/20 and Concor 2.5. I am not taking any medicine for the last six months, because I thought that they are affecting my sexual power. But, I find no improvement after stopping the tablets.

My problem is that I am not able to hold myself and enjoy sexual pleasure. Sometimes, I do not get an erection at all and I just ejaculate in a few seconds. I think that I need some medical advice as I still want to enjoy sexual pleasure. I have never tried Viagra.

Please advise what I should do and whom I should consult ?

What causes low platelet count after a week of fever?

Hi doctor,

I am 57 years old. I have a persistent low-grade fever for a week. At the end of the week, I did not have a fever. We did a blood test and it showed me a low platelet count of 127 thousand/microliter. Before six months, I did a blood test and it showed me a platelet count of 166 thousand/microliter. During my fever, I did not have any other symptoms such as cough, throat pain, runny nose, and breathing problems. I am worried about my abnormal platelet count.

While on birth control pill, what causes vaginal spotting?

Hi doctor,

I have been taking the birth control pill, Tri-Sprintec for almost five years now. I started my new pack of pills on 19 of last month. I had intercourse twice on 20th and once on the 21st of last month. I used to take my pill between 7 and 8 AM. One day I had pill at 6:30 AM as I woke up early and I hope that did not cause a problem. I started to notice a little pain on my right side in the pelvic area. I had intercourse again on 26th. I started my second week of the pack that day. During intercourse I felt pain, which never happened before. On 30th, when I was showering, I saw a rusty brown color discharge from my vagina and panicked immediately. When I continued to wipe my vagina a light brown, tan tinge appeared on the paper. Again on 31st, I saw a brown tinge on the toilet paper. Today, my urine color was brown initially and then became lighter. My period is not due now. I do not want to get pregnant. Can I get a prescription for birth control online? Please help.
