Is it good to have Risperidone and Tramadol together?

Hello doctor,

I have an urgent question and I do not know what to do. My mother in law (72 years old) who was a healthy and active person was suddenly diagnosed with Colon cancer last year. She was on chemo and radiotherapy treatment up until her last operation before 7 months where she was told she was cured. She was fine and back to her active ways yet she took it easy. Around a two months ago she had this pain in her back which kept getting worse. At first the doctor said it was just the cold got to her but it became too extreme to handle and she was referred to a neurosurgeon who said she need to operate that instant as she had some lesions on her vertebrate. She had a successful operation on two weeks ago and because of the pain they gave her Tramadol. Instantly she started hallucinating and was acting all confused. This lasted for a few days after the operation after she went back home. When her daughter contacted the doctor to say that she was hallucinating and saying weird things he prescribed her Prisdal (Risperidone). So she was taking this along with Tramadol. A few days later she stopped talking and became extremely lethargic. When her son and daughter took her to emergency they said she had anemia and gave her blood transfusion. They would not say what was wrong with her and the doctor wouldn’t answer his phone. They were fed up as no one would give them a straight answer. Her son contacted a friend who is a pharmacist. he was furious and said that it was very dangerous to take Tramadol and Risperidone together and she most likely had overdosed. Now my mother in law Is just lying in her bed and cannot move. This morning they would get a response from her by nodding and making a humming noise when they ask her a question. They have been feeding her with a syringe. We do not know what to do now. I just checked on her now and she is just lying there with her eyes closed immobile. She had a few syringe of water and some blended vegetable soup.

I have bloody vaginal discharge eight days after taking Unwanted 72. What should I do?

Hi doctor,

I had sex the next day after my period ended. Precum did touch my vagina. My periods started on the ninth of last month, and it ended on the fourteenth. I had sex on the fifteenth and took Unwanted 72 (contraceptive) on the seventeenth. After eight days, I experienced deep brown blood with mucus in my vaginal discharge. I found similar red blood discharge in the next two days. Along with this, I have PCOD, and my age is 18. What are my chances of pregnancy? And if there is, what should I do next?

Does esophagus cancer cause difficulty in swallowing food?

Hello doctor,

My 56-years-old father has been complaining about difficulty in swallowing for four months. So we did an endoscopy and CT scan, and it looked like a 1.5 cm neoplasm. We thought it was esophagus cancer.

But the biopsy showed no sign of dysplasia or metaplasia (in the first biopsy). Then again, another biopsy was taken, third and fourth biopsies showed mild dysplasia. I have attached the biopsy reports below. The inner tube of the esophagus seems to be inflamed (around 1.5 cm), which could be the reason for the difficulty in eating. We were given antibiotics for the inflammation, and another endoscopy was done after three months.

Could it still be esophagus cancer even if the pathology reports do not show it?

I have recurrent vaginal yeast infection. Can I take the COVID-19 vaccine?

Hello doctor,

I am a 20-year-old female with a weight of 132 lbs and a height of 5'5 feet. I have a recurrent vaginal yeast infection, and it started five months ago. I even consulted the doctor, and she prescribed tablet Diflucan one dose 150 mg. A vaginal swab report also proved the infection. Symptoms were itching and white thick cottage discharge without odor. I took medicine, but it did not cure the infection, so I stopped tablet Diflucan afterwards as I was afraid of its impact on the kidneys. Now, infection keeps coming back every month after menstruation. But now, it is not severe and does not cause a lot of itching. Since COVID-19 is spiking, I want to take the Sputnik V vaccine for it. I do not know whether I can take it or not as I have a vaginal yeast infection. I have no other illnesses. Can you please tell me if I can take the COVID-19 vaccine?
