It is hard to lose weight with PCOD and hypothyroidism?

Hello doctor,

I am 21 years old, and I am 160 cm in height. I have PCOD and hypothyroid condition, which was diagnosed last year. I was 85 kg last year, and then due to some lifestyle modification and regular walk and exercise, I lost approximately 15 kg in six months. Now I am 71.8 kg. I have tried everything in the last one and a half years, including diet, yoga, and exercise. My periods got delayed in the previous two months, but nothing is working on my body. My family is mentally torturing me to lose weight, which I too want to do. I walk approximately 7 km daily morning, and I am on 16-hour intermittent fasting. I do not eat any packed or junk foods. I am stressed, and my family does not understand my struggle, both mentally and physically. All they keep saying is that you have lost 15 kg. But the reality is I am doing everything to reach my goal of 60 kg, but somehow I am unable to do it. My mood swings are on peak. Please help.

Why do I need to examine TSH with HAMA for hashimoto's thyroiditis?

I have been having issues with my thyroid for several years - about 4, I believe. I have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's and have been on treatment for about a year and a half. I had an ultrasound done because I was having pain on the right side of my neck and the results showed, aside from a small cyst on my right lobe of around 3.5mm, that the right lobe itself is a bit smaller than my left (3.9 x 1.2, whereas my left is 4.6 x 1.4) and has hypoechogencity. My doctor didn't seem to care about that at all, and instead said she wanted me to get some lab work done and ordered a test called TSH with HAMA. She told me what it was, but it still confused me. Could you possibly explain to me what this test is used for and why she would have decided to order it?

My partner's huge testicles have shrunk now. Is there a problem?

Hello doctor,

I am asking on behalf of my husband. He is 31 years. He is 5.11 feet in height and weighs about 180 lbs. He is an overall healthy man.

He had a huge testicle on one side, whereas the other one is in regular size. He never thinks much of it and says they are pretty much like that for long years.

Recently we noticed that his large testicle has shrunk down to the size of the smaller ones. Could there be something wrong, or is it normal?
