Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I was receiving a handjob, and the skin on the shaft on my penis was stretched and tore. It healed, however, due to the stretch my skin retore again during sex, and now this tear is not healing or scabbing like the other one. I am worried it will keep tearing during sex or masturbation. If there anything I could do like a skin graft (anything that does not require my penis being cut) to restore sexual function without the fear of the skin on my shaft tearing again? It is on the upper side of my penis, which I do not read much online about. Most of what I read online has to do with tears on the lower side or frenulum.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I reviewed your complaints up and pictures (attachment removed to protect patient identity) and found that the matter is simple and easy. No, need for any surgery. First, you need to avoid masturbation or sex for four weeks as skin needs time to regenerate well. Second, when you masturbate you need to use lubricant. I prefer olive oil as it is good on the skin. Third, if you have sex, it is better to use a condom to prevent yourself from the sexually transmitted disease. Take vitamin C and Zinc containing multivitamins.
Patient's Query
Thank you doctor,
I am concerned because it has already been four weeks, and I am concerned it will happen again. It is not closing all the way.
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
Alright, during the last week, you did not masturbate or have sex and no friction to your skin. If so the healing must have taken place unless there is active infection which I cannot see from the picture (attachment removed to protect patient identity). You can apply Fucidin cream twice daily in case there is a bacteria there. I reassure you that you do not need more than this neither you need surgery for this condition. And if you want to have sex or masturbate, then follow precautions I mentioned up. You also can change your body soap or shower gel with less chemicals like baby soap. Do not worry about it will heal completely.
