Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been dealing with an acne problem for approximately 10 years. Despite avoiding sweets and oily food and opting for vegetables and fruits, I have not seen any improvement. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. Firstly consult a nearby dermatologist or send me the pictures to assess the grade and severity of acne. I suggest you the following steps:

1 If acne is mild, topical anti-acne creams like Clindamycin, Adapalene, etc, will help.

2 If acne is severe, oral medications such as Azithromycin or Doxycycline, with or without Isotretinoin, are prescribed alongside anti-acne creams.

3 Use a face wash for oily skin like Ahaglow or Cetaphil as a cleanser to wash your face.

4 If you are having blackheads or whiteheads get these removed.

5 Avoid squeezing pimples as it will leave a mark.

Follow the aforementioned measures for two weeks to observe the level of response you experience.

Thank you for consulting me.

You can always come back and reach me at icliniq.com.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
