Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have acne and dandruff problem and I consulted you in January. This time I notice patches and uneven skin toning. Still, I have pimples on my face. Please help.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You are in the age group of getting acne. Oil glands are active. Do not meddle with it. Drink a lot of water. Before periods acne will increase. For pimples, apply Clindac A gel (Clindamycin) on the acne spots for two weeks. Then change to Deriva CMS (Adapalene and Clindamycin) gel (three hours a day) for two weeks. Apply Melaglow Rich cream to the black spots in the night, and take capsule Microdox LBX 100 (Doxycyline and Lacticacid bacillus) once a day for 10 days at night. For dandruff, please continue Tarry shine shampoo or Keto-C shampoo twice a week.

I hope this helps.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

Pimples are still there but my dandruff and hair fall is too much. I want a glowing clean face. Because of dandruff, I think I am getting more pimples and also I notice some allergy below my elbow of both my hands. I have attached the photos of my face and the allergy.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I have seen the images (attachment removed to protect patient identity). You have got phrynoderma over the elbows. Apply urea based cream on the spots like Zenmoist cream. You cannot stop dandruff and acne like you switch off the buttons. This age group is prone for acne. As far as I have seen the pictures, you are not having so severe form of acne. If you insist, please search and know about capsule Isotretinoin. If it is fine with you, I will start it. Continue dandruff shampoo.

I hope this helps.
