Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

What treatment options are available for my specific type of acne or pimples? Are there any lifestyle changes or habits I should adopt to improve my skin condition? What skincare products should I use or avoid for my skin type? Are there any specific triggers or factors that may be worsening my acne or pimples? How long can I expect the treatment to take before seeing results?

Please suggest.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

Acne can be treated easily with facewash, tablets, and creams. Some people have more oiliness on the face which results in breakouts. After completing treatment for controlling the active breakouts, tablets can be stopped and creams need to be continued to prevent recurrence. Diet and lifestyle modifications are also important. Please do not do any self-treatment such as over-the-counter steroid creams. Do not burst the pimples with your fingers as it can result in ugly scars. The marks left behind after the pimples heal can also be treated. Kindly attach photographs of the acne for me to guide you better.

I hope this helps you.

Thank you for consulting me.
