Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have moderate acne problems. And for the past year, I have been using acne medications morning and evening. Yet my acne problem still occurs. It gets worse. It starts to turn red and pops up. I have been doing everything right. What is the issue? Please help.

Thanks.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

The pimple is somewhat hormonal and due to oily skin.

  1. Do not use hair oil and any sticky cream on your face.
  2. Avoid oily food, chocolates, and milk products.
  3. Avoid dust and use sunscreen.
  4. Do not rub any cream on your face.
  5. Do not use any steroid creams.
  6. Continue treatment for at least one month.
  7. Do not touch acne, and avoid pressing it.
  8. Clindamycin gel is more preventive and curative, so I tell patients to use it all over their faces in the morning. Use Adapalene gel over acne at night.
  9. Take the Doxycycline 100 mg once a day. You have to take this treatment for one month continuously. If the result does not appear, you must start with tablet Isotretinoin under a dermatologist's supervision.
  10. I hope this information will help you.

    Thanks.
