Q. What do an amniotic fluid index of 7 cm and minimal baby movement indicate in a 30 weeks pregnant woman?

I can see a discrepancy of two weeks in your ultrasound (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). The corrected estimated due date is in January. Assuming it is due to wrong dates because of irregular cycles.

The amniotic fluid index of 7 cm at 30 weeks and four days is low or oligohydramnios. But the concerning thing is that baby movement are less. So I suggest you immediately do a doppler ultrasound and a biophysical profile because the mother's perception of fetal movements is critical after 28 weeks.

The doppler ultrasound and biophysical profile will tell how the baby is doing inside. Also, I suggest you do a CTG (cardiotocography), which will trace the baby's heartbeat pattern.
