Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have fissure-in-ano. The fissure is posterior that is internal. I have tried Smuth and Sucral Ano cream. But, it did not heal. Can you suggest the best treatment?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

  • First of all, we need to treat the underlying cause of fissure-in-ano. The most common causes are constipation and IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). The others include hairy perianal area.
  • Kindly provide details about constipation and loose stools. If you have these, we need to evaluate and treat them.
