Initially, these medications helped me but as time passed by I experienced serious problems such as weakness the whole day, muscle pain, digestive problems, prolonged uncomfortable sleep, irregular heartbeats, dry mouth and skin, intermittent vomiting, constant suicidal thoughts, hopelessness, severe depression, and others. Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Medications are normal, however, if you are now relieved by mucous is because of severe irritation of the gastric and lung lining. It is a natural protective phenomenon. To prevent mucosa from damaging body secretes large amounts of mucous to trap irritants and prevent their direct contact with the mucosa. As reflux will settle down, mucous production will automatically stop. Strict adherence to the diet suggested below is required along with medications-

  1. Take a low fat easily digestible food.
  2. Eat a lot of raw salads, especially vegetables.
  3. No alcohol or smoking.
  4. No aerated beverages or soda.
  5. Avoid meat or processed food.
  6. Avoid cheese, dairy, or milk products.
  7. Take a lot of yogurt in food.
  8. Avoid spicy or fast food.
  9. If possible try a vegan diet for dinner and a normal diet for lunch.
  10. Drink at least eight cups of water every day.
  11. Avoid all citrus fruits or juices like orange or pineapple.
  12. Eat one fruit like a banana daily.

I hope you find this information helpful.

Thank you.
