Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 18-year-old school-going girl who is very concerned. My mouth started stinking one day randomly. I keep a mask over my mouth because of my bad breath. I brush my teeth for at least two to three minutes. I also use a tongue scraper and mouthwash. I chew gum too. It stinks and gets worse when I am at school. I need help as I am tired of wearing a mask just to cover my mouth. I feel embarrassed.

Kindly help.

Hello,

We welcome you to icliniq family.

I appreciate the confidence you place in me for your healthcare consultation.

Have you recently consulted any dentist regarding this issue? You need to get your teeth and gums cleaned to remove all calculus and plaque deposits. The dentist will also check for any cavities which may be causing food debris deposits which can cause bad breath. I suggest you follow the instructions mentioned below.

  1. Brush twice a day after meals. Try to touch all the teeth and each of their surfaces.
  2. Use warm salt water gargle twice a day after meals. It helps to reduce bacterial load inside the mouth.
  3. I hope this has helped you.

    Thank you.
