Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
The foreskin of my penis is red and painful. The penis head is sensitive to touch and difficult to retract. I am also experiencing premature ejaculation. I have had this issue for three weeks, and am applying tea tree oil on the penis head. Kindly give your suggestions.
Hi,

I understand your concern. I suggest you answer the following questions to assist you further:
1. Do you scratch or rub your penis often?
2. Are you maintaining proper genital hygiene?
3. Are you sexually active?
I also, suggest you wash that area with Episoft cleanser (Butylene glycol, Cetostearyl alcohol, Cetyl alcohol, and Sodium lauryl sulfate) or Nosoap cleanser (Aqua, Propylene glycol, Saccharide isomerate, Stearyl alcohol, and Sodium lauryl sulfate) daily for one month. I also suggest you attach the pictures to assist you further.

Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
Thank you for your reply.
I do maintain proper hygiene, but I get this often. I am sexually active with one partner. Kindly help.
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
From the symptoms described, it is balanitis, which can be due to improper hygiene, scratching and rubbing the penis, allergic reactions to irritant soap, infection, or exposure to irritants. I suggest you follow the following instructions:
1. Apply 1 % Hydrocortisone cream at night and Fucidin cream (Butylhydroxyanisole, Cetyl alcohol, and Potassium sorbate) in day time for seven days.
2. Wash that area with Episoft cleanser or Nosoap cleanser daily for one month and dry the area after cleaning.
3. Avoid scratching and rubbing.
4. Avoid the use of fragrance-based lotions, lubricants, or soaps.
5. Avoid the use of harsh soaps.
6. Wear loose comfortable thin cotton inners.
7. Always clean the glans after retracting the foreskin.
8. Always wash your private areas after sexual intercourse. I also suggest circumcision as this can prevent recurrent balanitis. I hope this helps you.
Thank you.
