Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

To better assist you, could you kindly provide some additional information:

  1. Do you have a history of diabetes or hypertension?
  2. Have you undergone any previous surgeries?
  3. When did you first notice this issue?
  4. Are you currently sexually active? If so, have you engaged in unprotected intercourse with a new partner in the last month?
  5. Are you experiencing any urinary issues such as urgency, increased frequency, difficulty urinating, or a feeling of incomplete bladder emptying?
  6. Have you encountered any difficulties retracting the skin over your penis? Is it red or inflamed?
  7. Is there any yellow or white discharge coming from the penis?
  8. Are there any visible spots or abnormalities on the penis?

It would be helpful if you could also upload some photos to provide a visual reference. This information will assist me in understanding your situation better and offering more relevant guidance.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for your response.

I am not diabetic and my blood pressure is normal. I have not had any previous surgeries. I started facing this issue in the last two days. I am not sexually active and have not had unprotected intercourse with a new partner in the last month. I do not have trouble passing urine or any urinary issues.

The skin over my penis is slightly red, and there is some pain when I try to pull it back. I noticed a white discharge this morning with no odor. There are spots on the penis. I will attach the photos for a better evaluation.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Based on your symptoms, it appears you may have developed balanoposthitis. Here are my suggestions for your treatment:

  1. Apply Surfaz SN (Clotrimazole, Neomycin, and Betamethasone).ointment locally to the prepuce skin twice a day for 7 days.
  2. Take Chymoral forte (trypsin-chymotrypsin) tablet thrice daily for 7 days.
  3. Take Zerodol P (Aceclofenac and Paracetamol) tablet twice daily for 3 days.

Consult your doctor, talk to them, and then take the medications as per their advice. I also suggest that you undergo the following tests:

  1. HbA1c (hemoglobin A1C).
  2. Urine routine and microscopy.

Please revert back in a week with the test results and let me know if you experience any relief.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
