Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have blisters on my face and body, which appeared yesterday. Since then, I have been feeling tired and feverish with back and joint pain.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

I reviewed your query. Your history reveals you have had joint pain, fever, and blisters on your face and body. First, you should find out the cause of blisters on your face and body. A few factors that cause blisters are a closer encounter with flame, steam or severe sunburn, using cosmetics, allergens, side effects of some medications, etc. And autoimmune diseases like pemphigus vulgaris, bullous pemphigoid, dermatitis herpetiformis, gluten sensitivity in coeliac disease can cause these symptoms. Also, blisters are common symptoms of chickenpox, cold sores, shingles, skin conditions like impetigo, etc.

Treatment depends on the causes of blisters. Blisters often get better in one or two weeks.

So I suggest you to apply Acyclovir cream (topical antiviral) and take tablet Flucloxacillin (antibiotic). Kindly consult a specialist, talk to them, and take medications with their consent.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
