Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been facing some gastric problems since childhood. If I try to eat some oily food regularly, it causes bloating in my stomach. Recently I found that frequently in the morning, I wake up with pain under my shoulder in the back and bloating in my stomach. Please tell me what kind of food and breakfast I should take. I generally take bread with butter and jam as I stay in the hostel. Waiting for your valuable response.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Your main concern is stomach bloating. The causes for that may include the following.

1. Excess stress.

2. Smoking.

3. Celiac disease.

4. Drinking too many carbonated drinks.

5. Stress-induced irritable bowel syndrome.

6. Eating too fast.

So correct all these factors if present. Also, try to follow the below-mentioned points.

1. Avoid stress and do regular exercise.

2. Do not take the same breakfast daily. Green leafy vegetable salad and different fruits can be tried.

3. It is better to take less fried food.

4. Drink more water.

5. I also suggest taking a tablet, Simethicone. However, please consult a physician, discuss with them and start taking the medications with their consent.

If there is no improvement, an abdomen ultrasound or endoscopy can be planned.

I hope this helps.

Thanks and take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
