Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You are a teenager and you can have regular, irregular, ovulatory, and anovulatory cycles.

Go for one serum beta hCG (human chronic gonadotropins) to check your pregnancy status and one transvaginal scan to check for any clots or need for evacuation if the pregnancy test comes positive. If the pregnancy test comes positive you need to have a detailed evaluation and discussion of scan findings with a gynecologist. If beta hCG (human chronic gonadotropins) comes negative then go for a thyroid function test and complete blood count to be on the safe side. If cycle regularity is an issue it will gradually resolve if no hormonal imbalance, otherwise you can have combined oral contraceptive pills for three months to regulate cycles. Eat a healthy diet with lots of fruits, vegetables, water, and less salt, sugar, and oil. Do exercise daily to maintain a balanced basal metabolic index and weight. Discuss blood reports with a local gynecologist or here.

I hope things would be better. In the case of heavy bleeding, you can have tablet Ponstan 500 (Mefenamic acid) milligrams 8 hourly from day two to five in periods after consulting a specialist and with their consent.

Thank you.
