Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My question is when I pee and at the end, it hurt when I wipe there is blood when my bladder is emptied.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You have to rule out acute urinary tract infection first by urine routine microscopic examination and if it shows pus cells and bacteria than urine culture should be done. If urinary infection confirmed than antibiotic should be prescribed for 7 to 10 days.

Cystitis, kidney infection, urethritis, etc., are causes for urinary tract infection. USG pelvis scan done if needed for further work up. Maintain hydration with lots of water. Fruit juice should be taken more. Avoid excess spicy foods. Cranberry juice extract tablet useful.

Take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
