I have a small painless lump on my shaft. Please help.

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a small lump (but it is very thin) on the shaft of my penis. I have done stretches in the past, and I am wondering what this might be. It does not hurt, but I do feel it when I squeeze it.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

This is due to shaving and skin irritation, or fungal infection. So nothing to worry, and it will be alright after taking treatment.

Did you recently have sex with someone? Please apply cream Beclomethasone and Clotrimazole two to three times a day after washing it and take tablet Cefixime 200 mg twice a day for five days after the meal.

Is there any itching? When you palpate, is it hard or soft? Please reply.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I had sex with an unknown partner and took a blood test last Friday. I will get my results within a week. However, I am not assured of that person. I shave my shaft, penis, and skin after that. It never itches. When I stretch it, I feel soft, and I can bend and squeeze it.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Please take the medicines I prescribed, and it will disappear in a week, most probably. If you notice anything else, let me know.

After five days, do follow up if it does not dissolve. I will prescribe medicines accordingly.

You can send me your results when you get them.
