Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have burning sensation while urinating for the last seven to eight days. Sometimes it relieves by itself and again it occurs causing pain. Please let me know what I can do to make myself feel better and eliminate this pain.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Sorry to hear about your trouble. I want to know a few details to help you with: How many times during the day and night are you passing urine? Do you have any white discharge from the vaginal area? Do you have any back pain or tummy pain while you pee? Do you have an increased urge to pass urine? Please start the treatment after you give urine routine or microscopy, and urine culture or sensitivity. Take tablet Niftran (Nitrofurantoin) 100 mg BD for seven days, tablet Urispas (Flavoxate hydrochloride) BD once daily for five days, and tablet Cranpac D (D-Mannose and Cranberry extract) BD once daily for 15 days. I repeat, please take the tablets after you give your urine tests, and please follow up with me once you have the results back.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
