Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My pelvic area is having a burning sensation, and this is the second time. I had a urine test and ultrasound and I have attached my results.

Kindly help.

Answered by Dr. Ankush Jairath

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

It might be due to prostatitis which is quite common in sexually active males. When did sensation first start? For how long it persists? Have you taken any medications for the same before? Any history of diabetes or hypertension or any medications you are on? Any urinary complaints like frequency, urgency, poor stream, nocturia, dribbling, etc?

Please revert back with answers.

I hope this helps.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

The sensation started last month. I took Ural for 6 days, I went to my GP here but they said no issues. But I can feel the burning pain. Apart from that I only took Himalaya cystone for the last 5 days. No diabetes, but have had some stress issues from the last few days. No other medication. When I drink 1 litre of water straight I have frequent urination as soon as my bladder is full. Also when I have like less sleep days I have frequent urination. Apart from that, I have painful urination when I eat very spicy food. Is it okay if I plan for kids at this time? Or do I have to wait?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

For kids, you can plan at any time. For medication, you can take the following:

  1. Take tablet Levofloxacin 500 mg at bedtime for 2 weeks.
  2. Take a tablet of Chymoral forte twice daily for 10 days.
  3. Take tablet Alfuzosin 10 mg at bedtime for 1 month.
  4. Take syrup Citra alka 10 ml thrice a day for 1 month.
  5. Destress and try not to eat spicy and oily food.

I hope this helps.
