Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have a painful foot after dancing the whole night. It has bruised toes along the area of my big toe on the inside of my foot. It is painful to touch and walk. Any idea what this is?
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
The possibility is that this is just a burst vein, and ice and rest will help it. It could be a soft tissue bruise if you accidentally knocked your toe while dancing. It could be a fracture, too.
Treatment is more or less the same. I suggest you take rest, use ice, take NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), and keep your leg elevated. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with him or her, and take the drugs with their consent.
I hope this helps.
Kindly follow up if you have more concerns.
Thank you.
